Finally the 25, 26 e 27 June 2021 the world event that unites the hearts and engines of Enduro motorcycle lovers has returned to Edolo: the Borilli EnduroGP World Championship, for friends and enthusiasts known simply as the Enduro World Championship!
This second edition also stood out for being a LEGENDARY and UNDESCRIBED event!
Despite the forced stop due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the organization stood out, despite the tight deadlines, for the countless emotions given to both spectators and competitors in the race.
The weather, Fortunately, crowned this memorable weekend, which saw the participation of ben 140 subscribers. Also on this occasion the race course was wide and varied and touched the Municipalities of Sonico and Malonno, as well as the host Municipality of Edolo where the renowned EXTREME race was also held, located on the bed of the Oglio River.
Retracing the main stages ofENDURO GP 2021, the diary tells:
Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 June the first arrivals of the teams and the preparation of the areas dedicated to the paddocks.
Friday 25 June, after the first race direction meeting and technical and administrative checks, at 18.00 the prologue with the TRY SHOW SUPER TEST, which took place in Edolo, in the area dedicated to Extreme tests. Following, as per tradition, the highly anticipated CLOSED PARK, placed, also in this edition, in the area in front of the Town Hall.
Saturday 26 June, from 9.00, finally begins there FIRST DAY OF RACE articulated between the tests of: ENDURO, CROSS ed EXTREME, repeated in shifts for well 4 times! Also on this occasion the path is mixed: stone-rock-earth-asphalt .... in short, pure adrenaline! All 18.00 the awards, who also see our "home" champion on the podium Fabio Mossini, who distinguished himself by obtaining first place in the ENDURO TEST, also marking the third absolute time!!!
Sunday 27 June, always from hours 9.00 and with the same route as the previous day, finally the SECOND DAY OF RACE. Even in this circumstance the emotions are not lacking and many were the Italian riders who have distinguished themselves for technique, tenacity and skill. At 17.15 the awards ceremony and the closing of this unforgettable edition!
The edition 2021 will certainly be remembered for i 30 exciting race kilometers, for the undisputed skill of all the pilots, for the times that these champions have marked… and for the sense of restart that this event has given to everyone, allowing participants and spectators, to be able to experience a weekend of carefree and "almost normal", feeling now forgotten!
